Bofang Zhou (Playwright)
Bofang is a Brooklyn-based bilingual writer and production manager. Her plays have been developed at Theater for the New City in New York City, as well as at Penghao Theater and The Nine Theater in Beijing. Her fiction and nonfiction have appeared in The Sun Magazine (US), Mengya Magazine (Shanghai), ONE (Shanghai), and several online publications. She previously worked in production at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing and currently serves on the production team at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
Jenna Roth (Director)
Jenna is a NYC based director and stage manager. Jenna attended the prestigious Tisch School of the arts at New York University as a Drama major, where she studied in the Playwrights Horizons Theater Studio. Post graduating NYU, Jenna directed Into The Woods by Stephen Sondheim at the Flea Theater, Lord of the Flies at The Court Square Theater, and has had her original work shown at short play festivals in New York City. She has a passion for storytelling that values inclusivity, community, and accessibility.
Jared Ritter (Kevin)
Jared is thrilled to be making his Chain Theatre debut in For Us. Originally from the Chicago area, Jared moved to NYC just over a year ago and is very happy to stay. NYC credits include the world premiere of Come and Knock Down My Door (Thin Duke) and the NYC premiere of Shelter in Place (Ego Actus). Regional credits include [title of show] (PrideArts) and The Three Musketeers (Theatre 121). Jared is a certified stage combatant with Dueling Arts International. Alexa Yamila Ocana (Olivia)
Alexa is a proud first generation Mexican Latina Alumna graduated from NYU Drama Tisch. She is ecstatic and honored to be representing yet another Latin story, bringing her authentic representation and her cultural pride on the stage. She recently has worked on Soldada, a one woman show that showcases a kaleidoscope of Hispanic characters and Valeria in El Nogalar a Hispanic adaptation of the Cherry Orchard. She wants to thank her incredible parents for their undying love, support, care, and unconditional love for her craft, her boyfriend, Oliver, for being her biggest cheerleader, and her Tata Victor for always blessing her in spirit.
Camila Herrera (Gloria)
Camila is a proud first-generation Cuban-American entering her senior year at NYU Tisch Drama at the Atlantic Acting School with a minor in Educational Theatre. She previously trained under Tisch’s New Studio on Broadway where she spent three years honing her craft on musical theatre. Originally from Miami Florida, Camila is an artist, performer, and youth educator now based in NYC. She most recently made her directorial debut alongside NYU Steinhardt’s Youth Theatre Ensemble 10-minute Play Festival. MEGAN GWYN (they/them) is a North Carolina born actor currently based out of Astoria, NY. Megan graduated from The Hartt School with their BFA in Actor Training in 2020. Outside of acting you can catch them ranting about the Muppets or haunting the NY Transit Museum because the Subway is really cool. Recent Credits include Twelfth Night (Tier5 Theatre Co.), Uncommon Women and Others (OUT/PLAY), Spooky Town (FrigidNYC), Henry IV Part One (Foul Fiend Theater Troupe), Alexandria (Off-Broadway: Pop Up! Productions), The Tempest (Smoking Mirror Theatre Co.), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Eccentric Bear Theater Co.), Twelfth Night, King Lear and Much Ado About Nothing (Capital Classics). GENEVA MYHRVOLD is an actress and multimedia artist haunting the streets of NYC. She is so excited to be part of the Mango Margaritas team! Geneva prioritizes bringing light to stories about queerness and supporting artists in the LGBTQ+ community - especially right now as the government continually targets our community. She graduated from NYU Tisch in 2024 where she majored in Drama and Russian Studies. CECILIA BRACEY is a director based in NYC. She strives to facilitate stories that are, at their core, honest portrayals of the human experience. Recent NYC Directing Credits Include: UNCOMMON WOMEN AND OTHERS, -IN-CHIEF, DRY LAND, SORRY! WE’RE CLOSED! THE SQUIRREL WATCHERS, Regional: SIX by Timothy Mason, and WHAT I WANT TO SAY BUT NEVER WILL. Nava Saylany
Nava is a graduate of NYU Tisch Drama having studied at Playwrights Horizons Theater School and Atlantic Theatre School where she focused on acting, playwriting, directing, and stage management.
She has performed in the TISCH DRAMA STAGE’s Festival of Voices in the production “Memorial” as well as In “The Stillness of Night”, put up at The Tank. Along with many productions with Broke People Play Festival. Some of her film work includes "Reflection", “Mehsoos”, “Rishta”, and voice acting in “Sun Chaser”
Raveena Khetarpal
Raveena Khetarpal is so excited to make her debut at the Chain Theaterl! She is currently pursuing her BFA in Drama (New Studio on Broadway) and minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology at NYU Stern. She most recently spent this past semester studying Shakespeare in Performance at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Some of her favorite credits include Duke/Juliet (Measure For Measure), Hermia (A Midsummer Night's Dream), and Molly Aster (Peter and the Starcatcher). Raveena is also a huge supporter of new works and is thrilled to be apart of this new play! She wants to thank Jenna and Nava for such a fruitful and fun rehearsal process, as well as her friends and family for their constant support!
