Danger Prone: Paradox

Synopsis

When a vampiric doomsday cult jumpstarts the apocalypse, Trinity Starrs was chosen to go back in time and save the world. She lands in the vaguely New England town of Coventree, where she enlists the help of Devin Kyle and Artie Nichols. Together, they will save the world… no matter how many tries it takes.

Nathan Clift (Playwright/ Producer) is a NY-based theatrical artist with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Western Connecticut State University. His play, The Cast Will Scream! has been performed internationally (licensed by Next Stage Press). Some of his favorite performance roles include: Charlie & The Chocolate Factory (Augustus Gloop), As You Like It (Touchstone), and Kelly F. Burr’s A Very Merry Breakdown (Michael), which was featured in the Chain Theatre’s 2026 Winter One-Act Festival. Max Markham (Director) is a theatre maker and arts educator based in New York. He studied at Manhattan School of Music. Select directing credits: Seussical, Willy Wonka, and Beauty and the Beast. Lindsay Ross (Stage Manager/ Trinity Starrs u/s) is a New York-based playwright, actress, producer, and stage manager. She holds a BFA in theatre performance from Cleveland State University! Her past work was working on the play Soaked and Scene 24 Production’s show A Very Merry Breakdown, and she recently performed onstage with Masquerade Theatre in their Women’s Festival, This is Not a One-Woman Show. Currently, she is working hard on her original play, “Shattered”, which will be performed in 2026-2027. She is excited to work on this show with such a talented group of people! Sydni Rivero (Trinity Starrs) is an actress/singer based in NYC. A proud graduate of Hofstra University, she holds a BFA in Drama Performance and minor in Musical Theatre. Some recent credits include: Vegan Vampires From Vermont (Lottie/Nemiad), Reefer Madness (Mary Lane/Dancer), Scary Carrie (Chris Hargensen), Rocky Horror Picture Show (Janet Weiss), and numerous cabarets at 54 Below, The Green Room 42, and Don't Tell Mama. She is pumped to return to the Chain Theatre, having made her debut as the costume designer for macbitches (2022 NY Times Critics Pick). Marcus Cruz-Santiago (Artie Nichols)is very grateful to be a part of this production!  He is a 2025 graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, Musical Theatre Program. Last seen at the Vanguard Theater as Splasher in Disney’s Newsies. Some of his other favorite credits include: Hair (Tribe), FEMM (Leo), Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812 (Fedya Dolokhov), Filch (The Threepenny Opera), and The Pajama Game (“Steam Heat” Dancer). Xavier Cornell (Devin Kyle) is an actor and singer originally from Los Angeles, California. He moved to New York City to attend Manhattan School of Music, where he earned his degree in Musical Theater last spring. While best known for his time on season 21 of NBC's "The Voice", theater has always been Xavier's first love. Nick Luis(Playwright/Actor) 

Nick Luis is a NYC based creative. He graduated from CUNY Baruch College with a Masters in Arts Administration. As a producer, actor and creator, Nick seeks to bring people together through art and storytelling in order to foster cultural exchanges and promote a more progressive and connected society. His recent producer credits are co-producing Vamos A Reir Un Poco by Rick "Wind" Herrera and the Tony Award winning Broadway musical “Come From Away.” Nick was Assistant Company Manager for the Broadway Musical “SUFFS.” He has held House Manager, Program Curator and Community Engagement Director positions in several esteemed arts non profit institutions across NYC including Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Pipeline Theater, Page 73 and WP Theater. As a performer, Nick led the cast of ‘Information for Foreigners’ as 'Guide' written by Griselda Gambaro, directed by Maru Garcia at Jersey City Theater Center and Elliot Ortiz from Water By the Spoonful by Quiara Alegria Hudes, directed by Sabrina Zara at the Producers Club. He is also a member of Unit52 cohort at Intar Theater. Nicks' written works; Pansy Craze was a finalist at the Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning Meet the Playwright Fellowship and Brothers of the Box was a finalist for the Frigid Theater Festival. Nick is also a published poet in the LGBTQ+ Anthology series “Out Loud” (Read Or Green Books). He has directed several plays; Trauma, Bonding by Josh Brady and Dominant Animals by Cris Eli Blak. David Hernandez III (Director) 

David is a NYC based singer, dancer, actor, and director originally from South Dakota, NYC & Puerto Rico are now home. Select past performances in A Drinking Game NYC’s staged reenactments of Hocus Pocus (Mary), Birdcage (Agador Spartacus), and Devil Wears Prada (Nigel). Select musical performances include White Winged Dove in The Dastardly Thornes vs the Town of Goldhaven, Mondo in Cloud City, and Rum in NYC Panto’s Sleeping Beauty. Selected directing work, “Shorts” and Actor Reels for Slick Showreels, and dance captain for the Three Penny Opera, directed by Benjamin Viertel. He is currently workshopping The Wolf, written by Aaron Fischer, and The Furies, written by Nate Weida and Micah Bucey. Rula A. Muoz (Actor) 

Rula A. Muñoz (she/her) is a multi-hyphenate theater artist who works as a director, dramaturg, producer, performer, and writer. Rula earned a BFA in Contemporary Theatre from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and an Advanced Directing diploma from the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center. She is a PEN America DREAMing Out Loud Playwriting alumna and was part of the 10th cohort of INTAR's Unit 52. Rula is a former member of the Artistic Collective of the National Queer Theatre, a member of the Latinx Theatre Commons steering committee, and a Fornés Institute member. NYC theater credits include working at companies such as The Bushwick Starr, The Sol Project, Repertorio Español, ¡Oye! Group, TOSOS, and National Queer Theatre. Regional credits include the International Orlando Fringe Festival, SpeakEasy, and Central Square. Selected TV/film credits: Mi Corazón es Tuyo (Televisa), Las 13 Esposas de Wilson Fernández (Animal de Luz), and 600 Miles (Lucia Films).

Sean Segerstrom (Actor) 

Sean Segerstrom is a queer, Korean-American actor and multi-hyphenate creative known for delivering complex, soulful performances with a strong physical presence. A seasoned NYC-based performer, his versatile work spans film, television, and stage, including originating roles in Chosen (Manhattan Repertory Theatre) and Stormé(American Theatre for Actors). On screen, Sean has written, starred in, produced, and directed several short films. His dynamic career also includes performances at iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall and Barclays Center, as well as two consecutive Best Choreography awards at the International A Cappella Championship with TONEWALL. At his core, Sean is a storyteller who thrives in roles that masterfully blend heart, humor, and depth. He is currently working on a multi-medium memoir project titled He Called Me Baby. @seansegerstrom across social media.

Sabrina Zara (Backstage Creative) 

Sabrina Zara is a New Yorker from Texas who enjoys to sing, act, dance, and take pictures! She is so happy to be documenting the cast’s journey to the stage so everyone can have memories to last and share! She hopes to use her powers of being chronically online for good! She is currently directing a play for the Gene Frankel Theatre Festival.

Caleb Kenin (Sebastian)

Caleb Kenin is a lover of all things film and stage, whether it’s performing, writing, or composing for them. He is a current undergraduate at Syracuse University, where he is pursuing an Acting BFA, and is set to perform in their production of Constellations in the Clark Theater. He is so excited to be joining the talented team of Ghoul Fools! G.B. Bellamy (Michael)

G.B. Bellamy is a New York Native. YURRR!! Actor, playwright, poet and filmmaker currently pursuing a BFA in Acting at Syracuse University. He is soon set to play King Henry in William Shakespeare’s Henry V at Syracuse University Department of Drama. Ivy Espinosa is a fresh AMDA NY graduate. While they passionately pursue musical theatre they can be found doing various performances around the city! From The Metropolitan Opera to a drag gig at a local bar you can always find them entertaining someone somewhere! Ivy is over the moon to be working alongside such talented people and their good Judys.

Lauren Vega ( Stage Manager)

Lauren Vega is a young queer filmmaker and theatrical personnel based in Brooklyn, New York. With over a decade of experience in performing arts, she is now completing her bachelor’s degree in Film Production at Brooklyn College. She is very honored and proud to continue working with The Chain as well as alongside her colleagues and friends.

Samuel Schell (Writer/Director)

Samuel Schell is a Communications student at the College of Staten Island with a passion for creative storytelling through acting, writing, directing, and filmmaking. He is also one half of the sketch comedy duo Mister Nilsson which has gained over 300k views across multiple platforms with their cutting edge and whacky comedy content.
