Bios:

Jessica Durdock Moreno (Playwright) is a recent MFA graduate of from the Department of Dramatic Writing at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her first play To Richard! premiered at the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival, where it won the Encore Producer’s Award and was nominated for the Inkwell Theater Playwright’s Promise Award. She began her writing training at Los Angeles City College, where she won Cinema and Television Department’s Best Screenplay Award. Moreno was a part of the 2021 Chain Theatre Playwriting Lab. Following the development process the Chain Theatre decided to bring her work to full production.

Rick Hamilton (Director), Managing Director of the Chain Theatre and the Chain NYC Film Festival, is an award-winning filmmaker whose short films, including “Seeing Glory, "Choices" and "The Fear Inside" have screened around the world. He directed the hit Off-Broadway show Fabulous! The Queen of New Musical Comedies and the AUDELCO-nominated Gypsy. His work Off-Off Broadway includes Geeks! The Musical and Sophia. He has aided in developing shows and directed staged readings of Candy Hearts, Sarah was Mine and A Retail Carol. For the Chain Playwrighting Lab, he has directed staged readings of Lychee Martini, What Passes for Comedy and Georgie D. Rick also directed the steampunk burlesque cabaret Suave and the Boner. CAST

Cheryl Games (Margaret) Cheryl is a playwright/actress and is thrilled to be making her just-recently-returned-to-New-York debut with the fabulous cast, crew, and playwright of Georgie D. Previous acting roles include King Lear (Kent) Bloody, Bloody, Andrew Jackson (Storyteller), A View From the Bridge (Beatrice), Picnic (Flo), Macbeth (Lady Macbeth), Dinner With Friends (Karen), Blithe Spirit (Elvira), and Circle Mirror Transformation (Marty). Her plays have been produced in New York; Los Angeles; Greenville, SC; Pittsburgh, PA,;and Columbus, OH. Education:  M.F.A., Actors Studio Drama Program, New School University; M.B.A., The Ohio State University. Cheryl and her husband, David, live in New York with their roommate, Jupiter the Cat.

Patrick Grizzard (Thomas): Patrick Grizzard is a New York–based actor, writer, and filmmaker. He was a performer on Maude Night at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre in New York with the teams Night Eaters and BedRock, and a solo writer-performer on UCB’s Characters Welcome. Patrick's on-camera work includes sketches for NBC's Content Innovation agency, indie films, and commercials. His previous stage credits include Five Sessions (Teatro LATEA at The Clemente) and A Word of Love (The Poet Acts). Patrick has performed all over New York City and at comedy festivals across the U.S., including the Del Close Marathon, Sketch Cram, New York Sketch Fest, Austin Sketch Fest, UCBT-NY's 3x3 Tournament, and the Magnet Ten-Minute Play Festival. His (very) short film Charles won the Special Jury Prize at QuickieFest: The One Minute Film Festival. Patrick has studied at the Atlantic Acting School, the Barrow Group, and Maggie Flanigan Studio. He is a recovering comedian and lives in Astoria, Queens.

Constance Cooper (Patty)

Constance's own Act I began as a classical pianist, singer, and producer/on-air personality of FM Radio’s “Just Music with Constance Cooper.” She moved into her second act with a pass at the 9-to-5 world as a computer programmer, then PhD candidate (Princeton University, 2003--Composition), prizewinning composer and expert in LOGIC music production. She moves into a third act as actress, avant-garde composer and keyboards improviser, She played Lady Bracknell in Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Earnest” in a site-speci!c production at the Morris-Jumel Mansion, the oldest mansion in Manhattan and is the Senior Correspondent in a 3-part series by that name for VICE Media.

 David Rey (Pedro) is honoured to be a part this production. Theatre credits include, Chasing the River (Chain Theatre), Wait Until Dark (Chain Theatre), The Usual Rejects (Chain Theatre), The Hard Lull (Richmond Shepard Theatre), The Bear & The Proposal (Circle in the Square Theatre), Director/Actor of web series Pool, ( LA Web Fest Winner) Actor/DP of web series ADULTish (NYC Web fest Winner), (LA Web Fest Winner),(Seoul Web fest Winner. Education: Miami International University of Art & Design, Circle In The Square Theatre School. Native of San Juan, Puerto Rico.


Ericka Lee Conklin (Stage Manager) is pleased to be joining Chain Theatre and their production of Georgie D. She has worked as stage manager for nearly ten years in both New York and Pennsylvania. Past productions include Ludwig and Bertie (Theatre for the New City) R.U.R (Gamut), Newsies, The Savannah Sipping Society (Millbrook Playhouse) 

Michael Abrams (Lighting Design/ Technical Director) Michael has designed numerous shows all over the country, including Off-Broadway, Off-Off Broadway, Regional, Tour and Cruise Ship venues. Select Design credits include: I Of The Storm, Music Man, The Merry Widow, The Salvage Shop, My Favorite Year, Twelfth Night, The Last Starfighter, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Occupaton: Dragonslayer, American Nocturne, She Loves Me, Amadeus, Quartet, Last 5 Years, Jekyll & Hyde, Scarlet Pimpernel. In addition to designing shows, Michael is a professional photographer that has been published nationally and internationally.
