Synopsis
BUGZY is about three TV show writers plotting an episode of a children’s TV show the day after their head writer is put on a leave of absence. It’s also about Bugzy, the anthropomorphic kid-bug who is the titular character of said TV show.
Bios
Addie Atkins is a queer, non-binary playwright. They recently graduated with their B.A. in Writing for the Stage and BFA in Acting at Marymount Manhattan College. They are ½ of the comedy duo Diversity Hire NYC. They write funny, bold, colorful, sincere plays. They would like the opportunity to make you laugh.
Han (like hand) is a director, educator, arts administrator, and theatremaker based in New York, NY. They are a Filipino-American femme from the San Francisco Bay Area, currently pursuing their MSEd in Childhood Education at the City College of New York and being a silly goose up in Washington Heights!
Yeshi Berry is an artist based in New York City. She has played many roles from comedian, director, actor, dance captain, movement coordinator, and producer. They recently graduated with a BFA in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College and continue to create work and perform in the city.
Bella Fatigati (they/them) is an arts administrator and interdisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn. They are the Artistic Director of Medusa Collective NYC and the Bookings Manager at the Alliance of Resident Theatres. Email: bellafatigati@gmail.com, bfatigati@art-newyork.org
Cassandra Cruz, playing the role of Julie, is a recent graduate from Marymount Manhattan College’s BFA Acting program. She is a NYC based actor and has a deep passion for every avenue of the arts.
Will Tully (He/Him) is a New York based actor. He graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Musical Theatre in 2024. He would like to thank his spine for always having his back, his arms for always being by his side, and his friends/family for their continued support.
Vicky P is over the moon to be a part of Bugzy. Victoria is a senior double-majoring in Acting and Business at Marymount Manhattan College. She has recently completed a semester at the British American Drama Academy in London. Victoria would like to thank her parents, grandmother, and friends for their endless support in her artistic endeavors.

SYNOPSIS
This dark comedy follows Morgan, a driven IRS claims worker who steps into her office elevator thinking she’s late—only to find herself suspended between Heaven and Hell, where a burnt-out elevator operator becomes her reluctant guide and helps her confront her life’s loose ends and accept the afterlife.

Pamela Joy (PLAYWRIGHT, MORGAN) Pamela most recently starred in Don Loftus’s world premiere of The Springvale Armadillo at The Open Eye Theater in Margaretville, NY. She’s brought memorable roles to life in Terror is the Order of the Day (The Flea Theater), Tennessee Williams’ This Property is Condemned, Pinter’s Celebration, and numerous one-acts by D.S. Burrows, plus sketch comedy at The PIT. Pamela writes with as much uplifting spark as she performs, creating original work like Influenced for AND Theatre’s Go Solo! Show and her one-act Mist, which she also directed. On screen, she’s appeared in short films including Driftwood, The Drip, and Longest Shortcut to Hell. Andrea D. Peterson (DIRECTOR) I’ve never been just one thing—I’m a storyteller, whether through a lens, a page, or a stage, driven to open eyes, touch hearts, and stir minds. Armed with a Lit degree and a Master’s in Broadcast Journalism from BU, I crisscrossed from NYC to Miami and Latin America as a video journalist, crafting mini-docs and directing a web series and a news show. Now based in NYC, I juggle directing, acting, and writing across film, web, and theater. My award-winning screen work includes You Again, The Crew, and Theatre Noir, and my stage play (plan C) premieres at Pygmalion Theatre in May 2026.
Phil Oetiker (CURTIS) Phil has been performing full time for three years, since restarting his acting journey after more than 35 years working as a cinematographer and camera operator on major motion pictures and TV series. His credits include serving as the original cameraman on “Law & Order”, and several Spike Lee movies, including “Malcolm X.” A former radio and television announcer he has continued a side career as a Voice Over actor.

Bios
Julia Ford Collier (Sofia) is a New York–based actor whose work spans film, television, and theatre. Recent screen credits include Your Friends & Neighbors and Coup!. She has appeared in numerous New York stage readings and productions. Julia is happy to be a part of such a great NYC theatre festival amongst incredible creatives.
Rich Carrillo (Phil) is excited to be a part of the festival and to be surrounded by such great talent. Latest stage credits: “How To Hot-Wire a Lamppost” (Unit J), “Cemetery Soup” (The Brick) and “Kin” (The Chain). He is Artistic Director at Unit J, Festival Director at Cinema338, an accomplished drummer, and a US Navy veteran.
Guil Parreiras (Playwright/Director) has directed many off-off Broadway productions, including "Cowboy Mouth" and "4-H Club" by Sam Shepard; "Art as an Excuse to Drink and Screw" and "A Leg Up" by Craig McNulty. Sarah is known for playing Mrs. Kavanaugh opposite Matt Damon in the viral Cold Open sketch on Saturday Night Live, which to date has received over 33 million views on YouTube.
