Synopsis
Did It Follow You In is a short horror play about the superstitions we use to distract us from the real terrors. A couple looking for their missing son are terrorized by a shapeshifting monster.
Bios
CINTRA BATCHOO (Actor: Fazeela):Cintra Batchoo is a Trinidad-born actress and comedian raised in New York City. She is thrilled to play the lead role of Fazeela in “Did It Follow You In?” at the Chain Theater Winter One-Act Festival. Previously, she was seen in the lead role of Thelma Johnson in the production of “His, Hers, Ours” (Matthew Corozine Studio). Her other stage credits include: the satire “A Sketch Of New York” (Producer’s Club); SPQR’s “Derby Day” (studio space, NJ); as the understudy for the lead role of Josefina Gonzalez in “La Gota Fria” (The Player’s Theater) and as Aunt Lucilla in the workshop reading of “Ghostly Little Play” (John Desotelle Studio). Trained at The Barrow Group and the Peoples Improv Theater (PIT-NYC), Cintra can also be found performing standup, improv and sketch at various comedy clubs across Manhattan and Brooklyn. JUAN ROMAN JR. (Actor: Fisal): Juan Roman Jr. is a New York City based Actor raised in the city. His training includes the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts. Highlights include a COVID PSA that aired nationally and the short film "Recoba" which was screened at the New York Latino Film Festival in New York City.
BILLY V. ISIDRO (Actor: Reeyaz/The Jumbee): Billy V. Isidro is a native New Yorker hailing from The Hudson Valley. He has been immersed in both film and theatre production from high school, and followed the arts to achieve a Bachelor's degree in Playwriting & Screenwriting with a minor in Psychology from SUNY Purchase. Billy has been in numerous productions, either being onstage acting, behind the scenes running sets, or sometimes enjoying the ups and downs of the writing process, third person or otherwise. He would like to thank his partner and family for their unwavering love and support in the pursuance of the arts. Enjoy the show! :3

NOAH KOTZIN (Director/Co-Producer): Noah Kotzin is a director of theater and film from Buffalo, NY and currently based in Kansas City. As a director, he is interested in the avant-garde and new plays. He is a graduate of Bard College and the National Theater Institute’s Directing program. Previous work includes Far Away (Studio North), Dream for a Security Deposit (with Andres Berman, Bard College), Devil on Your Shoulder (The National Theater Institute), and the short film Emily Dickinson Goes to the Airport. Synopsis
Molly is in the tenth circle of hell (in her mid-20s on dating apps), so in an effort to feel less lonely, she has summoned the imaginary figures of Fitzwilliam Darcy and George Wickham of Pride and Prejudice fame. Molly Goes Dancing is a silly, heartfelt, whimsical play about finding love in the modern world, and finding meaning when faced with the fact that all we really have at the end of the day is ourselves.

Chloe Selavka- Playwright
Chloe Selavka is a writer and teacher originally from Worcester, MA, now located in NYC. She studied playwriting at Marymount Manhattan College and now works as a preschool teacher, keeping the whimsy alive. She feels so lucky to be presenting her third one act with the Chain Theatre! Previous works include Peonies (The Chain, The Tank, NYTF), Synonyms for Goodbye (The Chain), Come As You Are (RDTF), and Puddle (Sapphest). Natalie Weinberg- Director
Natalie Weinberg (she/her) is a director, playwright, and artist pursuing her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Marymount Manhattan College. This is her second time working with both the Chain and friend and collaborator Chloe Selavka after last winter’s Synonyms for Goodbye. Other recent credits include RENT at MMC and Take Ten at the Summer School for the Performing Arts in her hometown of Westford, MA.
Sean McNicholas- Production Stage Manager
Sean McNicholas (Stage Manager) is a theatre artist from the Chicagoland area pursuing a major in Theatre Design and Technology at Marymount Manhattan College. Though his focus is Lighting Design, he is excited to step into this role and expand his knowledge in Stage Management. He is also excited to be working at The Chain for the first time and to work alongside such an incredibly talented company! Nick Baum (he/they) is an actor, dancer, rock climber and list maker. Damien Moore (they/them) is an actor, writer, improviser and comedian. They are incredibly excited to bring this version of the classic Austen character to life! Synopsis
Telemachy is a comedic fast-paced short play featuring Telemachus, the son of Odysseus - a boy who wants to wear skirts in a land where men only wear pants. When his father finally returns from "War," Telemachus chooses to be himself even in the face of Puppet Bullies, his drunkard mother, and his "War hero" father.

DiLULLO (Director/Producer) - Ria is a director, actor, playwright, and founder of The Skeleton Rep(resents), a 10-year old indie new works development company with a mission to explore modern myth. AARON BANES (Telemachus) - Aaron is a Filipino-American actor, composer, and singer, born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. A graduate of NYU Steinhardt, his favorite credits include Edwin in the short film Sands Street, Sebastian in the pilot Mott & Spy, as well as Josiah in Heart Strings and Charley in The Big One Oh, both at the Atlantic Theater. He is excited to collaborate with Skeleton Rep once again in Telemachy!
MELISSA MARTIN (Smiling Woman) - Melissa hails from St. Louis, MO but has called NY state her home for near 17 years. From Rochester to NYC, it’s been a journey. With an aim to never stop learning from the potency of our humanity and all this city provides, here’s hoping she sheds a little light on some subjects for all it’s worth.
RAFAEL MORENO (Odysseus/Suitor/Beggar) - Rafael is an actor, writer, and producer who studied theater and business marketing at Stony Brook University. He attended intensive conservatory at HB studios dramatic arts under the guidance of Austin Pendleton. He is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Construct Theater Company, Current Producer of Xperiences Travel Show.
DANIEL SCARANTINO (Narrator) - (he/they) Danny is professional actor, improviser, stage manager and occasional drag queen wrangler. He studied Literature at FSU which means he can recite Chaucer but he'd rather not. As an escapee of Florida he is thrilled to be dwelling in NYC; living and working in the arts. He is very poor.
