Synopsis: Set 20 years after the September 11th attacks, two ex police officers meet to remember their friend and reveal much more about themselves and the world around them.


Marcus Harmon is a playwright, actor, and singer from Columbus, Ohio. This is his first one act play and first play shown on stage. He was selected as a recipient of the Dramatist Guild Foundation award and this year's NYFA (New York Foundation for the Arts) grant for playwriting. 

Hartley Erickson is from Sandy Spring, Maryland. He has studied at the William Esper Studio here in Manhattan. He will be making his New York stage debut as part of the 2021 Chain Theater One Act Festival.

Marcos Luis is a graduate of Northwestern University. He has been seen in national commercials, tv, & film. He is a podcast Host @OneMicNite and is happy to return to stage again in NYC. @MarcosLuis

Synopsis: Circus performers playing a small town stop for a drink at the U Drop Inn and find the waiter is a performer who suddenly quit the circus and disappeared.

Cast:

Devin Carey (Hilda) is excited to make her Chain Theatre debut in a Real Class Act! She received her degree in Theatre from the University of Southern California and currently studies under Scott Freeman. Previous Off-Broadway credits include An Unimagined Love, Missing Layla and Magnum Opus. She has also appeared on TV's Homicide City.

Billy Gillen (Artie) is a graduate of AMDA and The National Theater Institute. His most recent credits: "This is Our Youth", "The Last Caddoan", "Richard III", "Hamlet" and "The Seagull". Billy made his directorial debut in "God of Carnage" this past April, at the Vino Theater in Brooklyn. He'd like to thank everyone involved at The Rogue Theater Festival and John DeBenedetto for this opportunity.

Emmy Kuperschmid (Cassie) is an NYC-based actor and writer on a mission to make people feel less alone. Favorite credits include Dave Malloy's Beardo (Pipeline Theatre Company), How To Make A Woman’s Advocate (YPF @ the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center), As You Like It (Rogue Players), and The Mad Ones Lab with Kerrigan & Lowdermilk. Dustin Pazar (Pete) is thrilled to finally be back on stage once more! He was most recently seen playing Orlando in The Rogue Players’ production of As You Like It. Favorite past roles include Henry IV (Henry IV Part One), Caliban (The Tempest), Simon Stride/Spider (Jekyll and Hyde), Tommy Albright (Brigadoon), and John Merrick (The Elephant Man). Alumnus of Boston College (Theatre BA). Thanks to his family, friends, and beautiful fiancée.

Director:

John DeBenedetto has directed numerous plays at various venues in NYC. He holds an MA from Hunter College. He is very pleased to be working again on a play by Matt and Ariel Aliza Sanders.

Playwrights:

Matt Sanders and Ariel Aliza Sanders live and write in Brooklyn, New York. Their short plays have been produced in various New York City venues, several directed beautifully by John DeBenedetto, and one in London.
