Synopsis: Linger follows the relationship of a couple through 3 years, including ups, downs and a tragedy that shakes them apart as they learn their hearts were intertwined by fate.
Niveka Hobaichan (they/she) (Tommy/Playwright) is a Playwright, Actor and Poet who was born and raised in Queens. They want to thank Allison and Marie for helping bring this story to life and dedicate their performance to their brother and their grandmother. IG @caramelmessiah. Allison Aube-Martin (Kimberly) is a French-Canadian multidisciplinary artist who discovered her first creative landmarks in Paris, formulated her expression in Montreal and is now settled in New York having just graduated from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting three-year program. Past roles include Miss Blagg in Partnership, Louise in Patrick Henry Lake Liquors and Sarah Elmira Royster in The Spyglass Seven. From publishing her first poetry book in August 2023 entitled “Mind fragments de l’Esprit” to writing, directing and producing her first short play “Double Take” within the “Circle” festival in 2024, Allison uses her love and knowledge for literature and words as a tool to dig deeper in any script. She is looking forward to be an integral part of the Chain Summer theatre festival playing Kimberly in the one-act play Linger written by Niveka Hobaichan.
Marie Finch-Koinuma (they/them) (Director) is a trans-nonbinary director, intimacy choreographer, and theatre artist passionate about creating productions that spark conversation, challenge audiences, and ultimately, uplift stories and perspectives that are too often unheard. A recent transplant from Minnesota, Marie is ecstatic to be involved in their first project since moving to NYC in the fall. Previous directing experience includes She Kills Monsters, Really Adult, and Torn Apart (world premiere). Intimacy choreography credits include Chicago, How to Train a Queen, and Nice Work if You Can Get It. As both a director and intimacy choreographer they prioritize creating inclusive, consent-based environments that encourage accountability and empower artists to take risks, share ideas, and grow. Taylor Hadsell (Nurse): Taylor Hadsell(Nurse) is delighted to be performing original music this summer! She recently played Dorothy Gale in "The Wizard of Oz" Off-Broadway at The Actors Temple. Select credits include: Woke(The Actors Studio), Round Dance(IRT), and The Sound of Music(Milton Theatre). She can be seen on HBO Max in "Evil Lives Here" season 15. Isabella Orosco (Madame Behrs): Isabella (She/Her) is a New York based performer with a love for all things horror. She has worked with numerous regional theatre companies, and frequently performs in concerts at Don't Tell Mama, and 54 Below. She was seen as the understudy for Candle in Like Father Like Salt (Off-Off Broadway); and Plankton in Spongebob the Musical (Theresa Lang Theatre) most recently. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and Playwriting from Marymount Manhattan College. When not performing, she hosts a horror discussion podcast called Craven Conventions. Kammy Ibarra (Director): Kammy Ibarra (they/them) is an LA/NY based singer, actor, writer, and director. They are a recent graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School (‘24), and discovered their admiration for directing through their professor and mentor Benita deWit. Recent projects of theirs include “Amplify” A cabaret fundraiser for Black Theatre Coalition, and “Carpool,” an original work featured in Hogfish Maine’s “Farm to Stage” series. Kammy is so thankful to be able to work with the Sofia team, and continue to stretch their director’s muscle.
Logan Foster (Author): Logan Foster is a New York based librettist, composer, and performer originally from North Carolina. He is an alumnus of Elon University and the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop as a lyricist. He is the librettist and composer of original musicals “Eye of a Needle”, “Way To Go!”, “The Last Soviet”, and “Sofia”. He has developed works with the New Ambassadors and Sandbox Musicals and has performed at such venues as the Berkeley Rep, Asolo Rep, and ZACH Theatre. His work has been featured at such venues as The Musical Theatre Factory, GreenRoom42, and the ARTNY 2023 Gala. UPCOMING: Rogue Theatre Festival 2025 Digital Entry (Way to Go!), Spark Theatre Festival 2025 (Last Soviet), and an Artist Residency with Skeleton Rep in Spring 2026.

Synopsis: Jane is a mother, a lover, and a painter's muse. In that order. As she poses for her lover’s latest piece, they grapple with questions of her own happiness and what to do now that her daughter has flown the nest. That is, until her baby comes back with news that pushes both women to question what we owe to each other and ourselves.
Hazel Stevenson (Playwright) Hazel Stevenson is a senior at The City College of New York studying Theater and English. Still Life is her first venture into playwriting coming from a background in acting, improvisation, and visual art. She is so excited to see it come to life with this amazing group!
Anaïs Escobar (Director) Anaïs Escobar is an undergraduate student studying Theatre at The City College of New York. This is her professional directing debut - thank you Chain Theatre! She’s so thankful to Hazel for entrusting this spectacular piece in her hands, she cannot wait to share this story with you all.
Jonan Perez (Stage Manager) Jonan Perez is a Brooklyn native and undergraduate student majoring in Theatre at City College. He is grateful to be working with this group of people for his first professional stage management role!
Sarah Lee (Jane) Sarah Lee is an art teacher, artist, improv actor, & former fashion director. Thrilled and honored to play the MUCH YOUNGER interpretation of Jane.
Julie Mackey (Natalie) Julie Mackey is a BFA student in Film & Video Production and Art at The City College of New York. She’s so thankful to be collaborating with such a talented group of artists and is excited to be a part of the show!
Mark Stevenson (Arthur) Mark Stevenson is a painter, photographer, editor, teacher, journalist and sailor. Excited, well excited and scared, to be part of this production. While he is a lifelong attention seeking ham, this is his acting debut.

Synopsis: "Ushers" is a quick look into the unconventional world of Broadway's silent soldiers, ushers and all that can happen in the fifteen minutes before the lights go down and the show begins.
Al Monaco (Playwright and Director) Al is an emerging director and playwright from Buffalo based in New York City. Al’s work has been showcased at Dixon Place, The Makers Ensemble, The Playground Experiment, and various festivals throughout New York, most recently at The Chain! Al is overwhelmingly grateful to Der and Er for being in these weird little plays Al writes. Al is also an avid knitter. @al_monaco
Erin Jillian Clarke (Usher 1) was last on stage in Sunday at Eleven, part of The Chain’s Winter Festival. She’s acted in plays by Chekhov, Lorca, Brecht and Shakespeare as well as contemporary plays, developmental work & short films in New York and London. She received her MFA from East 15 Acting School, London. @erinjillianclarke
DJSJ (Usher 2) is a Black and Latinx, queer, proud Gemini. A multi-hyphenated actor and content creator, he also works across playwriting, poetry, directing, and podcasting. He manages operations for the Ali Forney Center and has previously presented work from his play To The Queer Black Boys Who Won’t Be Found at Scene & Heard. Currently, he is developing a new play, The Fool, following a playwriting workshop at INTAR led by Josefina López. @djsj614
